We design and build Power Apps that replace clunky forms, automate approvals, and connect your data – all within your existing Microsoft 365 tenant. No new software, no new licences, no months of IT backlog. Built directly in your environment and handed over as yours.
Your team deserves better than Excel forms and email chains.
Most organisations have processes that live in spreadsheets, email threads, or basic SharePoint default forms. The tools to replace them are already included in your Microsoft 365 licence – they just need to be built properly. Power Apps lets you replace manual, error-prone processes with smart, connected business apps without buying anything new.
Manual data entry across disconnected tools
A new risk is logged in the register, then copied to an Excel tracker, then summarised in a weekly email, then updated again when the status changes. Every step is a chance to introduce an inconsistency. Users spend time on data administration instead of the work the data is supposed to support. Nobody is confident the version they’re looking at is current.
No conditional logic
The default SharePoint form shows every field to every user in the order the columns were created. A risk owner sees fields for Opportunity Response that don’t apply to a Risk. A field that’s only relevant when the risk type is Issue is visible on every record. Forms are cluttered, confusing, and routinely submitted incomplete – because nothing forces the right fields to be filled in at the right time.
No automation
When a form is submitted, nothing happens automatically. An email has to be written, a notification has to be sent, a status has to be updated manually. Approvals live in inboxes with no tracking. Nothing is auditable and nothing is fast – because the process is held together by individuals rather than the system.
Power Apps we build for our clients.
We build canvas apps that connect to SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 data sources. From a simple smart form to a multi-step workflow app with approvals, notifications, and role-based views.
Canvas Apps
Custom-designed apps built for a specific use case – not a generic template adapted to fit. The layout, logic, and user experience are designed around how your team actually works, on desktop and mobile. Typical capabilities include:
- Screen-by-screen layout designed for the task – not a single form with fifty fields
- Role-based views: different screens or fields visible to different users based on their Microsoft 365 profile
- Read-only and edit modes: users can view records without risk of accidental changes
- Search and filter screens: find existing records quickly before creating a new one
- Offline capability for field teams where internet connectivity is unreliable
- Mobile-optimised layout for use on phones and tablets without zooming and scrolling
SharePoint Form Replacement
The default SharePoint list form cannot show or hide fields based on what the user selects. It cannot enforce conditional logic, guide a user through a multi-step process, or adapt based on their role. Our Power Apps replacement can. This is the most common starting point for clients who already have SharePoint lists but are frustrated with the default form experience. Typical additions include:
- Dynamic dropdowns that filter based on previous selections – e.g. Opportunity Response options only appear when Type = Opportunity
- Conditional field visibility – fields appear only when they are relevant to the current record
- Required field enforcement with clear validation messages at the point of submission
- Calculated fields displayed in the form without requiring the user to do the maths
- Pre-populated fields based on the logged-in user’s profile (name, department, manager)
- Multi-step guided input for complex records, breaking a long form into manageable sections
Risk Management Apps
Smart forms and workflow apps purpose-built for risk registers, ERM processes, and compliance workflows. The most common engagement – replacing the default SharePoint risk register form with a Power Apps canvas app that enforces the correct fields, logic, and response options for each risk type. Typical features include:
- Risk type selector (Risk / Opportunity / Issue) that controls which response options, fields, and sections are shown
- Conditional Risk Response dropdown: Mitigate / Accept / Transfer / Avoid for risks; Exploit / Enhance / Transfer for opportunities
- Lesson Learned section that appears only for Issue records
- Mitigation sub-form: add multiple mitigations with control owner, target date, and status without leaving the risk record
- Stakeholder tagging with immediate email notification triggered via Power Automate
- Read-only summary view for stakeholders who need to see but not edit the record
Approval & Workflow Apps
Multi-step apps with built-in approval flows, status tracking, and notifications. Integrated with Power Automate for end-to-end automation. Typical use cases include procurement requests, HR approvals, compliance sign-offs, and supplier onboarding – any process where a record needs to pass through multiple reviewers with a documented outcome at each stage.
- Submission form: structured data capture with validation before the approval process starts
- Approver view: see the full record, add comments, and Approve or Reject with one tap
- Status tracking: submitters can see exactly where their request is in the process
- Audit trail: every decision timestamped and recorded against the record in SharePoint
- Escalation: automatic reminder to the approver after a defined period; escalation to their manager if no response
Cómo funciona.
1. Requirements & Design
We start with a structured requirements session to understand your use case, the users, the data, and the process the app needs to support. We map out the screen flow, logic, and data model before writing a single formula. This is where we identify the edge cases and exceptions that would otherwise surface mid-build.
2. Build & Iterate
The app is built directly in your Microsoft 365 environment. We share a working version at an agreed point – typically after the core screens are functional but before the logic is fully polished – and incorporate your feedback before finalising. You see progress before sign-off, not just at sign-off.
3. UAT Management
We manage the full testing process – test case creation based on the agreed requirements, execution coordination with your nominated UAT contact, defect tracking and resolution. You test against real scenarios. We fix deviations from scope. You sign off.
4. Entrega y documentación
Full handover including screen-by-screen documentation of the app logic, data connections, and any formulas that require explanation. Your team should be able to understand what the app does and make minor changes without needing us. Includes 3 months of defect remediation. Ongoing support available as a retainer.
What our clients use Power Apps for.
Risk Register Forms
The most common starting point. A Power Apps canvas form replacing the default SharePoint risk register form – with conditional risk type logic, dynamic response dropdowns, mitigation sub-forms, and stakeholder tagging. The form enforces the right fields for each risk type and eliminates the incomplete submissions that occur when users face a flat, undifferentiated form.
Incident Reporting
A mobile-friendly incident capture app for operational teams. Users report incidents in the field via phone or tablet – structured form with location, category, severity, and photo upload. Submission triggers a Power Automate flow that notifies the relevant manager and creates a record in the SharePoint incident register with the correct status and owner pre-populated.
Asset Management
A canvas app for tracking equipment, software licences, or physical assets connected to a SharePoint asset register. Users can search existing assets, update condition or location, flag items for review, and add new assets – all from the same app. Includes a manager view showing assets approaching renewal or flagged for replacement.
Flujos de aprobación
A structured approval app replacing an email-based approval process. Submitters fill in a guided form with all required information before the request enters the approval queue. Approvers see a clean summary view and Approve / Reject with comments. The full decision trail is written back to the SharePoint list and visible to all parties. Eliminates the “I never received that email” problem entirely.
Onboarding Checklists
A guided onboarding app for new employees or new clients. Each step in the onboarding process is a screen in the app – the user works through them in order, confirms completion, and the app updates the onboarding tracker in SharePoint automatically. Managers see real-time progress without having to chase. Steps that are overdue trigger automatic reminders via Power Automate.
Inspection & Audit Forms
A mobile-first inspection app for field teams – works on phones and tablets, optimised for use while moving around a site. Inspectors complete structured checklists, attach photos, and flag issues – all synced to SharePoint on submission. Replaces paper forms or unwieldy Excel files emailed back to the office at the end of the day.

¿Por qué LeapLytics?
No new licences needed
Power Apps with standard connectors – including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Forms – is included in most Microsoft 365 plans: Business Standard, E3, E5, and similar. Premium licences are only needed for Dataverse or premium connectors like Salesforce or SAP. We confirm your entitlement before starting and won’t recommend a licence you don’t need.
We work in your environment
Everything is built directly in your Microsoft 365 tenant. Your data stays where it is. No external platforms, no new infrastructure, no ongoing dependency on a third-party system. When we hand over, the app is yours – hosted in your environment, maintained by your team or by us as a retainer.
Domain knowledge, not just code
We don’t just build apps – we understand the business processes behind them. Risk management, compliance approvals, incident reporting, asset tracking – we’ve designed and built apps for all of these, which means we know the edge cases and the questions to ask before they become problems mid-build.
Preguntas más frecuentes.
Do we need a Power Apps Premium licence?
Not for standard use cases. Power Apps with SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and other standard M365 connectors is included in Microsoft 365 Business Standard, E3, E5, and similar plans. Premium licences are only needed for Dataverse or premium connectors. We check your licence entitlement before starting and tell you upfront if your requirements need anything additional.
Can you connect Power Apps to our existing SharePoint lists?
Yes. Connecting Power Apps to existing SharePoint lists is the most common starting point. We assess your current list structure, recommend any adjustments to support the app logic, and build the form on top of your existing data. In most cases your existing records are fully compatible without migration.
How long does it take to build a Power App?
A simple form replacement typically takes 3–5 days. A more complex multi-step workflow app with approvals, role-based views, and Power Automate integration usually takes 8–15 days. We give you a written scope and estimate before starting so there are no surprises.
Do you work on-site?
All work is delivered remotely as standard from Germany. On-site visits can be arranged by mutual agreement – for example for a requirements workshop or go-live session. Travel costs are invoiced at cost with prior written approval.
Can you also maintain the app after go-live?
Yes. Every engagement includes 3 months of defect remediation at no extra cost. Beyond that, ongoing maintenance – new screens, logic changes, connector updates, troubleshooting – is available as a monthly retainer. Many clients find a small retainer more cost-effective than calling us reactively when something needs updating.
What if we already have a Power App that needs fixing or improving?
App review and optimisation is a common engagement. We assess your existing app, identify logic issues, performance problems, or missing capabilities, and give you a written assessment before making any changes. Often faster and more cost-effective than rebuilding from scratch.
Often combined with Power Apps.
Desarrollo de SharePoint
Power Apps forms sit on top of SharePoint lists. A well-structured list with the right column types, validation rules, and views makes the app more reliable and easier to maintain. We design and build both together in a single engagement where needed – same team, same day rate.
Power Automate
A Power Apps form captures the data. A Power Automate flow handles what happens next – approval notifications, status updates, stakeholder emails, escalations. The two work together naturally, and we build them as part of the same engagement where both are needed.
Registro de riesgos
Our most common Power Apps use case – replacing the default SharePoint risk register form with a smart canvas app that enforces the right fields and logic for each risk type. Power Apps, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power BI delivered as a single integrated engagement.
